देहरादून। सूबे के कृषि एवं कृषक कल्याण मंत्री गणेश जोशी को कन्फेडरेशन ऑफ स्टेट एग्रीकल्चरल मार्केटिंग बोर्ड्स (COSAMB) के अध्यक्ष बनाया गया। विधानसभा भवन में बोर्ड के प्रबंध निदेशक डॉ. जे.एस. यादव ने मुलाकात कर मंत्री जोशी को पुष्प गुच्छ देकर स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन किया।
इस दौरान बोर्ड के एमडी और मंत्री जोशी के बीच देहरादून मण्डी को हाईटेक बनाने सहित कई संभावनाओं पर चर्चा की गई। इस अवसर पर मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने कहा कि निश्चित आज मुझे राज्य कृषि विपणन बोर्डों की राष्ट्रीय परिषद का चैयरमैन बनाया गया, यह मेरा सौभाग्य है, उसका लाभ हम प्रदेश के हित में देंगे।
कृषि मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि देहरादून कि जो मंडी है, हमारा प्रयास होगा कि इस बोर्ड के माध्यम से उसको हाईटेक मंडी बनायेंगे। ताकि मंडी की आय में बढ़ोतरी हो सके और उससे अधिक से अधिक लाभ किसानों को भी मिले और आम जनता को भी सुविधा हो, इस दिशा में कार्य किया जाएगा।
इस अवसर पर कृषि एवम् कृषक कल्याण विभाग के अपर सचिव रणवीर सिंह चौहान भी उपस्थित रहे।
