कहा कि राज्यसभा के सभापति सभी के लिए ‘अंपायर और रेफरी’ होते हैं लेकिन वह सत्तापक्ष के ‘चीयरलीडर’ नहीं हो सकते।
कांग्रेस ने यह प्रतिक्रिया तब दी जब धनखड़ ने राहुल गांधी के संसद में विपक्षा का माइक बंद किए जाने के बयान की कड़ी आलोचना की।

कहा की इस साजिश को किसानों के आंदोलन के चलते कुछ समय के लिए नाकाम कर दिया गया। चूंकि सरकार को तीनों कृषि कानून वापस लेने पड़े थे। ‘हम अदाणी के हैं कौन’ श्रृंखला के तहत प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी से सवाल पूछते हुए कांग्रेस महासचिव जयराम रमेश ने अहमदाबाद में भारत-आस्ट्रेलिया के बीच क्रिकेट टेस्ट मैच का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि अपने जीवनकाल में अपने ही नाम पर बनवाए स्टेडियम में सम्मानित होने पर इन सवालों को पूछने का उचित समय है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि मोदी सरकार के कठोर श्रम से भारत के खाद्यान्न रसद को अदाणी समूह को सौंपने की साजिश है।
कांग्रेसियों ने कहा की देश के कृषि ढांचे को अदाणी समूह के हवाले करना था मकसद
सरकार के कृषि के काले कानून वापस लेने से यह साजिश कुछ समय के लिए टल गई है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पाया कि उपभोक्ता मामले और खाद्यान्न वितरण मंत्रालय सीडब्ल्यूसी के पक्ष में हैं जबकि वाणिज्य और कानून मंत्रालय मुंद्रा पोर्ट के पास स्थित दो प्रमुख सीडब्ल्यूसी वेयरहाउसों को अपने नियंत्रण में लेना चाहते हैं। रमेश ने आरोप लगाया कि पूरे देश को पता है कि काले कृषि कानूनों को लाने का मकसद देश के कृषि ढांचे को अदाणी समूह के हवाले करना था।

कांग्रेसी जयराम रमेश का धनखड़ पर समिति की नियुक्तियों में सलाह नहीं लेने का आरोप कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश ने कहा कि संसदीय समिति का अध्यक्ष होने के बावजूद राज्यसभा सचिवालय में समिति से जुड़ी नियुक्तियों में उनसे कोई सलाह नहीं ली गई थी। कांग्रेस महासचिव का यह बयान राज्यसभा के सभापति जगदीप धनखड़ के उस बयान के बाद आया जिसमें बीस समितियों के पसर्नल स्टाफके आठ सदस्यों की नियुक्ति में लिए अपने फैसले का बचाव किया था।
